Life...

Sigh... lately feel so mad, sad... sometimes feel so happy, cheerful... then suddenly pissed and angry again (although I don't show it). Life... oh life..... this sem is going to be undoubtedly full of pathetic happenings, miserable feelings, back stabbing betrayals and new friendships. God save us all.....

Karaoke with classmates!

This morning donno why suddenly automatic wake up early... maybe cause school starts liao. So do the normal routine of playing FB. Suddenly MC pm me in FB, asking me want go karaoke or not. Huh?!? Why yesterday yamcha no ask me?? -_- Thought of not going, but then due to a 'reason', I can go liao... haha. But very mafan lor go alone.

Reach there, late by nearly half an hour... running and tired. Mana tau Robin lagi lambat... Inside, we drank and eat tit-bits as we sang our hearts out. Shocked that when MC sang, her voice also quite nice wor...! Walao, so many keng singers, I paling lousy n soft, haha...

Then went for lunch at 'Pa Vi Lion', like Ee Fan said... lol. They makan, we teman. Then split (n split again) by group, to jalan jalan in Pavilion. Left me, MC, Kid, Robin n Wei Ming, so we decided to go to the mamak in front of my friend's church to yamcha. Thought after yamcha go back... mana tau they still want go see movie.

So I 'terpaksa' go back early as promised to eat dinner at home. Go back alone, take bus (which now raised to RM1.90) 191. Sien... so half asleep in the bus all the way back, where my bro fetch me home. A fun and memorable day, before the busy sem starts again...! ><''

First class photo of U5

After one year finally we did a class photo as suggested by Ms Yarshi. Before that it was a new and 'fun' way of presenting... where we just use less than a minute to present from where we sit, and then turn 360 degrees on the spot (for fun), lol... Since this is rare, I took the initiative to record down nearly everyone when they spinned. The most creative one was Wennie, who tried to half spin normally, then played a scary song to finish the other half spin. It wasn't scary but funny... lol. Still, thumbs up for trying to entertain the class... haha.

A fun day with Multimedia Designer's of TARC

Wah, today really had a blast. Early morning went for Mr Allen's tutorial, where we got to learn more flash stuffs (flashback of what I learned last time too). But only 7 ppl came, woot...

Then took the bus with CK for Times Square ASAP, as it was getting late and looks like gonna rain. Sorry couldn't wait for you Juno ><... Reached there nearly the same time as Juno, so we went to the cinema and looks like we were early. Had some drink/food at Old Town as we saw some of our friends there too.

Inside the cinema was full of people from our course, pity I sat alone in the 'VIP' seat ><. But Trasformer 2 was really good... way better than I expected (because usually the second episode of a hit movie is not as good as the first). There was laughter, sadness and action packed moments all inside one film, bloody smart! A bit dissapointing is the finalle between the 2 'bosses'... too short!

Outside of the cinema, I realised I forgot to take my bag! Went inside, but wasn't there! So I rushed to Old Town and found it... fuh -_-; Then went for lunch with the people that didn't ran off after the movie at the food court. 100++ people, not bad... but the food there was a bit lousy. Took some pics and left after lucnh. Later I went back because forgot to take my bag, AGAIN.

Jalan-jalan a while then we split up and soon went home because getting late liao. I went back by bus with Ck and Shiang Teng, in a bus that is speeding like gila babi (I thought the driver speed because nearly died of hunger -_-;). Metrobus... really fast and dangerous!

First week starting tutorial/ practical

So today finally starts all the subject. I hope no more class cancel, since it will make us study less or replace it, which will be even more bothersome. English class is taught by a Malay dude, since he's 24 years old only. Very seldom I see Malays that is pro in English, and he was one of them. His standard I think a bit like me only, cause he use BM when he can't find the right English word, haha. But overall he's a good dude... I think.

Interface Design was hard... he teaches too fast and the workload he gave was A LOT! Luckily I went and ask him myself what he wants for next week, else really the WHOLE class blur. Good cause we will learn more, bad is we will be very busy this sem... ><

I went to CK's house today and noticed that ppl shouldn't write 18SX now... more like 14SX or 16SX liao, hahaha...  

This Thursday...

Received a msg from Robin saying this Thursday 100% got lecture, and got important stuffs, so better go. Since most students already bored like a dog at home, I think most of them sure will go one... so cya then! XD

The new sem awaits!

So fast year 2 liao... I can still remember when I first joined the group, totally awkward in a lecture hall full of new ppl. I was even nominated as the course rep, where I meet Shankar, Ray, Wang Ten and Nalina for the 1st time (we were all nominated). Although I didn't get any position, but in the end I became the class rep in sem 2... a twist of fate, haha.

Year 2... I hope there won't be another shifting of classes since there will be new students coming in and some unfortunate ppl unable to continue into Year 2. I'm on the bottom 2 of the list some more... ><'

Lately fixed my 2 coms with my own hands (and advices from friends) but accidentally sprained my back muscle... argh, sakit! T_T Can't join U6 in the trip to Penang too, cause too expensive. Oh well... need to save money in these times of hardship...!

No games to play

Wah... no dota memang sien! Lately besides playing 'my brute', saw my bro playing 'Restaurant City', one of the games in Facebook. Eh, not bad wor...! So this is the game Adrian been playing all this while... But didn't expect his restaurant is like a 'palace' liao, siao! -_-;

So what are you waiting for? If you play Facebook, then go play restaurant city! The best thing is you can hire your friends as the cook, the waiter... or the cleaner! LOL

End of Sem 3, year 1

The last exam is over... and there goes one year of studying in TARC. A lot of things have happened in the past one year, from making new friends, doing assignments, study for exams... to becoming the class rep of U5. Thanks to all my friends that make it happen...! ^^

I hope all my friends will be able to pass all their subjects and continue on to year 2, it will be sad to see some stuck for another year. Today went out with Danny, Alvin, Robin, CK, Ee Fan, Sze Kang, Chew Yee, Yong K, Wei Ming for yamcha, L4D, Dota and dinner. It was fun and entertaining, wish we could do it more often next time.

Ø Audio waveform (definition/ describe)

Waveform means the shape and form of a signal such as a wave moving in a solid, liquid or gaseous medium.

Ø Sound characteristic (what is the importance?)

Properties of sound waves:

o    Wavelength

The distance between any point on a wave and the equivalent point on the next phase. Literally, the length of the wave.

o    Amplitude

I donno right or not, but as requested by Miss Pilla, here's the answers I got from the internet (for now) on Question 2:

o   What are the characteristics of good sound reinforcement? (check the quality of the sound, sound check, check the PA, mic, speaker, etc…)

o   What is the characteristic of a good audio and video presentation?

Producing High Quality Audio:

·        Eliminate background noise

Directional microphone gives more control

Deaden the room in which you are recording

Some audio systems will cancel wind noise

·        One microphone per speaker

·        Keep the sound levels balanced

·        Sweeten sound track with interesting sound effects

 

Producing a good video presentation/slideshows:

1. Don’t overuse them

Readers will easily start ignoring your audio slideshows if they’re continuously overused and the content is mediocre. Figure out which stories are best suited for a slideshow (i.e. a city council meeting may not be the most appropriate time). Sometimes a slideshow or video is better. Your audio slideshows will have more meaning if they’re used sparingly and effectively.

 2. Send out the real photographers

It’s great to have the emphasis on “the backpack journalist” who can do it all, especially for breaking news. But, if you can get your hands on a staff photographer, do it; an inexperienced reporter using a point and shoot won’t always do the trick. If you send out a real photographer, the reporter can focus on getting good audio without having to figure out how to use the camera.

 A word of caution: make sure the photographer and reporter actually work together.   Send them out as a team and let them discuss the focus of the slideshow, goals for photos and audio and even let them edit it together. It’ll make the entire production more cohesive.

 3. Use text slides

If the audio doesn’t tell the full story, use text slides as transitions between sources, topics, locations, etc. A simple, powerful look is a black slide with plain white text over it, which you can make in Photoshop. Don’t get too fancy; keep words to a minimum so readers aren’t forced out of the slow pace in which they’ve been watching your slideshow. If you have a lot of text, break it up over multiple slides.

 4. Make good use of ambient/environmental noise

It’s easy to forget about ambient noise and it’s hard (if not impossible) to go back to the scene to capture good ambient noise. What am I talking about? Cheering crowds, a clanking hammer, dripping water. Anything that adds to the feel of the environment and captures what your photos and interviews cannot.

 5. Humanize your subject

The best audio slideshows introduce your viewers to a new person, just like a good feature story. Even if you’re covering an event, make the speaker a human among the crowd or show how the audience is made up of many individuals instead of being one big group.

 It seems abstract, but you can do it with photos that capture emotions and audio that goes beyond the standard, “Today’s event was really successful, we had a huge turnout,” quote. If you go into the project with a goal of humanizing your subjects, it’ll be easier to look for those stories that really stand out.

 

o   Find a famous film music score

A film score is a broad term referring to the music in a film, which is generally categorically separated from songs used within a film. The term soundtrack is often confused with film score, though a soundtrack may also include songs featured in the film as well as previously released music by other artists, while the score does not. A score is written specifically to accompany a film, by the original film's composer(s).

o   What is ADR? (what should a sound engineer have?)

ADR stand for "Automated" or "Automatic" Dialog Replacement.. 

Recording engineers operate and maintain sound recording equipment. They may also work special effects equipment. These engineers install, test, repair, set up and operate the electronic equipment used to record and transmit radio signals. They regulate the signal strength, clarity and range of sounds and colours of recordings or broadcasts. They also operate control panels to select the material's source.

Audio engineers operate mixing consoles, microphones, signal processors, tape machines, digital audio workstations, sequencing software and speaker systems.

Finished BT exam!

Finally the typo exam is over! Although not so hard, but not so easy also... I think will pass if my assignments mark are not so low, but I'm aiming higher than just pass, lol.

Yesterday my other computer just kantoi, and that happened one day after I fix my room's computer! Memang 'hak chai'... now have to check what happened to it again, mafan. Worse of all, I can't Dota cause this room's computer Wc3 folder cannot open! @(%&(%@_*$!! No DOTA= No Life! Ok, maybe not so serious la... haha.

Next up... S@A exam on Friday. Then what should we do with our long holidays? Don't tell me all want balik kampung awal-awal again...!? Sien lor...! ><;

Yamcha with Mr Aaron

Last night went for a yamcha with Mr Aaron of S@A. I was late because I need to wait for Lian Gim and fetched her there. Quite a lot ppl was there, some of them were Robin, Chun Kit, Alvin, Ck, Lee Fong, Ze Kang, Chew Yee, Douglas, Ee Fan, Yong Kae, Ka Heng and Seven, I think (sry if I misspelled the names, haha).

But it looks like Aaron was a bit bored, since most of the time we were talking about games and L4D. I heard from him it was Bernard's bday too, so Happy Bday Bernard, haha... Then we went for L4D in WCG but some of them need to go back to do 'something'.

L4D was exciting as ever, and with Chun Kit as the 'kou sau', we won easily the first round. But second round lost back to them, due to a lot of 'bad luck', haha. 1-1, everyone happy! Reached home around 2am, siao...

Today finished S@A after do a little fixing and modifying from Wennie's. Overall, not bad... but CK's screaming too keng until the mic cannot tahan, got 'chau yam', haha. Danny's was good too because he was able to make those 'deejay' kind of voice by himself, impressive! ST's group one... I think too much 'sighing' and pronunciation got a bit problem... okla, haha.

Typo ass finally done!

Siao... finally finished the typo after 2 nights not enough sleep. Actually I dont think there's a lot of marks for the presentation, donno why make us do it. We were late, but not so late until she wrote 'L' on our presentation, which will give penalties on our marks.

After finished, went for lunch and DOTA. First round lost, no fun... second round was winning but suddenly need to go fetch my mom from LRT (but they won also in the end). At night got Bernard's GG name, so we can DOTA one day... I don't believe his Tinker cannot die! Haha. Oh, those that too free can go play this game... register under me! XD

Finally, the S @ A assignment is done! I only do most of the sound searching, V/O and story editing, others Wennie and CK kautim, haha... Then we present one by one, which is good because we don't need get 'malu' if ppl listened to our recording. But bad is we can't listen to the other's work too, haha.

Now left the freaking typo, tonight no need sleep liao... sien! Today was also Bernard's last lecture, and we realised he is a Dota fans too! Saying his Tinker (character) cannot be killed, really so keng ka? But last night I used Tinker to be 'Beyond Godlike', so maybe can la... lol.

Movie poster kau tim!

Fuh, finally finished and passed up poster assignment! Didn't look as nice as I thought... maybe cause I no idea on how to make a bombastic poster, sad. Whatever la, still got a lot assignments to do!

Ponteng Typo, but then realised the teacher himself didn't come... so dont consider ponteng, lol. But then still need go early to do Dahlan's audio recording. Went to Li Hong's house to do recording with Wennie, Ck and Mhing Chen. I thought it will end fast but because we were all noob, it became more funny than serious... mostly because CK's sound effect so keng (but too keng until I sit next to her also sometimes sakit telinga). I think her scream can reach 100db, lol...

Also heard there's some 'incident' happening at TARC that Li Hong accidentally saw. Wow, doing 'it' in class... memang siao! The couple must be either very daring or very stupid. If kena tangkap by TARC, sure kena expel liao. Makes you wonder what people will do for love nowadays... or is it really 'love' or just curiosity? 'Curiosity makes baby', you know? Hahaha...

Finished t-shirt design!

Wah... finally finished t-shirt design assignment. Took me 5 hours to do, which is not bad... based on the outcome, haha. Unfortunaltely so susah do only got 30 marks. But luckily some ppl say that's not the final marks, he will still check the project in detail 1st. Good la, cause some ppl just copy n paste got same marks with me while I do so susah only got 30! Mana Boleh!? I got so low maybe cause he thinks I copy n paste too, haha...

Kns betul... donno why my Internet down for 2 days liao. Lucky now can online using other ppl's Internet connection. Lately been feeling a bit sick, maybe cause pressure from all the assignments coming in, haha. But suddenly yesterday found out that 'someone' is now a couple! Wah... really shocked and surprised. But wishing her all the best in her relationship! :P

Lately happens a lot of quarrel and misunderstanding among my friends. Feel sad that how friendship could be broken that easily, but I understand that nobody is perfect, so we should try to fix our problems rather than letting it be the cause of our downfall.

Wah... assignments really coming in like gila babi... I hate the most is typography! Short sem he thought is long sem, give us FOUR assignments! Then need to approve, present... and even got some stupid homeworks! Memang absolutely insane and unjustified! Fan Koong!!

IM assignment is kinda fun, but because I'm not a pro yet, so quite hard to do the effect I wanted. A lot ppl do it quite keng, including Danny, Wang Ten and Robin. I need to keep up and do a better one than them! Haha...

Today is April Fool. Tak kena fooled except by Alvin (used my weakness: DOTA), cis! Robin also kena from Wennie, haha (12am fool him, siao!). Tonight yamcha too! Assignments, buzz off! >.<

2 shocking news!

First... yesterday saw helicopters flying over my area, around the mountain part (which is in front of my condo). Don't know what was happening, but sure something serious... else why got helicopters? Today come out in the newspaper... rupa-rupanya got 2 person died somewhere there, cause of death is falling off a clift. Wah, like that also can? Based on the evidence... looks more like a suicide, a pair suicide... maybe. Kesian...

Second, today went with my friend to Mid Valley for a photo fair or something. Thought of not going but since he is driving me there, okla... hehe. Was late cause he need to go SS2 to sign up for a run at The Curve, sponsored by BHPetrol.

Arriving there, a lot of ppl was already flashing their super DSLR camera at the models. And when I say super, memang SUPER. Some lenses were as big as telescope, some bigger! Some even so keng to bring their own mini ladders so can climb up and take nice shot with their powerful zoom lenses. We were late so my friend couldn't take much nice shots then. As models went in and out, the last contestant came out. I was shocked! It was my... cousin! Fuyoh, she joined the model competition... usually she just do modelling. Ka yau!

Then later the results are out. 2 special category was announced, unfortunately she wasn't one of them. Then 2nd place... also not her! And the winner is... Felixia! WAHLAOOOO!! My cousin won!!! She is the champion, fuyoh!!! I can't believe it... cause there was a lot of keng contestant, and not much called her name when the host ask opinion from the crowd who would win. She Won! And I was really happy and proud of her... my cousin leh! XD

Then later we took some pics with her, but used another friend's camera. So have to wait a while before I can post the pic up here... sabarlah! :P

Sudden 'mid term' attack!

Memang siao... said next week, suddenly yesterday got exam mid term liao. Not prepared how u expect us to pass? So as expected, a lot of 'keluar kucing' is done, haha... totally clueless, mou pan faat! I also feel ashamed need to do it, but... terpaksa! T_T

To make it worse, tell us to bring magazine next week to do 'collage' work... as exercise in class! Walao weh... gila ka!? Assignment havent even finished approving, PLUS one more assignment not yet do, PLUS one more assignment haven't even been briefed... TAMBAH lagi!?! This week also got homework liao, next week going to add one more... this lecturer sot sot d! Want to kill us ah?!

I know he's trying to train us to be better but this is just too much! He think only got his assignments and homework meh, other subjects takda? Someone go knock some senses into him la, we are not robots...! >.<

Class cancel...!?

Aik... looks like Bernard lecture cancel liao starting next week. I was looking forward to learn more on PS but there is nothing much he can teach in term of theories anymore. So now I can only look forward to the practical and tutorial classes to learn more of PS and Illustrator, haha...

Walao, typography assignments are stacking up like a gunung liao, with other assignments. Susah! Susah!! But on the good side, Danny just passed me SF on the PSP, so now can challenge ppl in SF. Wonder if there's any 'kou sau' in SF for DML1? XD

Lucky!

Last week Eveness gave me back my pen that I lost with my black book, thanks a lot! (Cause that pen so hard to find back) Also got back my TARC car sticker by going through the Student Affair office. No need to find parking outside liao, yes!

Then yesterday while I was so syok playing basketball, I forget the most important thing... I left my favourite Man U hat there! Today I went back to check, knowing sure hilang liao... but it's still there! WAH, so lucky!! My original MU cap is not gone, thank God!!! ^^

A yamcha with old and new friends

Yesterday IM tutorial class learn how to make a picture by creating outlines and stuffs from a black and white/ scanned picture. It's interesting and was one of my fav cause I thought of making my own character through sketching on a paper first. I did the 'Patrick' (from Spongebob squarepants) picture quite fast too, and the teacher said 'Good... first time I see Patrick got pants!' Haha, it was fun learning Illustrator.

Last night went out yamcha with Lian Gim, CK and Fong plus my two secondary friends, David and Daniel. 3 boys, 3 girls... it looks like a blind date session, haha. Lian Gim also bought her laptop because wants to ask me some Photoshop stuffs, but sadly her laptop a bit rosak, so only able to teach her a bit.

It was fun... most of the time we were watching the funny 'Shaolin Soccer' and the exciting 'Tokyo Drift', but we did chat and talk about other stuffs like games, jokes and life. Who says the young and the 'experienced' people can't mix? Haha...

Went back around 1am++... sorry can't invite more ppl cause my car can't fit that much >.<

A fun day in ACGC

Went for Animation Comic Game Convention (ACGC) after class on Sat. A bit tired cause only slept around 4 hours before that, but since they ask me go mai go lor... I also want see how special the festival is, haha. So after finished the tutorial, meet Fong, went to fetch Lian Gim at the TARC bus top and drove to Wangsa Maju LRT where we meet MC later.

Took LRT all the way to Kelana Jaya, then we took taxi to Tropicana City Mall. I should took the first taxi but then changed to the second taxi, which is a good thing cause me, LG and MC only paid RM6 for the fare while the other side need to pay RM10++ because the taxi driver got lost, haha...

A new Mall, the festival was actually not that large but still medium sized. Looking around, Danny's gang came later. Out of all the booths there, the Street Fighter 3D was the one that interested me the most as it was highly praised by gamers. Not that much different from other SF series but the graphic was a lot better. Saw a 'kou sau' there, with spiky hair...

After watching some cos-play and looking around the products there, we saw Left 4 Dead tournament there. Couldn't join as the registration was closed, too bad. Then headed back to the SF section where we could play for fun if we wanted too. I was surprised they were using arcade type joysticks to play, which I didn't touch for a long time. Still the urge to fight other players and try out the cool game made me hooked. I played a while and won all, then the spiky dude came and in my mind I thought 'Oh, here comes the pro!'. Can I win him? I doubt so...

He used Ryu, the most powerful and balanced char. I don't know what to use, so picked Vega which has good agility. After an intense fightout, I won! I was happy but my heart was pumping, hands shaking... too nervous liao. After winning, I stand up, wanted to leave cause hands was trembling but suddenly he stopped me and said 'Wait, winner stay!'... Omg, he wants another match!? I know I cannot deny him, so we fought a second match of SF.

This time its Ryu vs Guile... and my Guile lost, haha. Guile is too static to beat a balanced char like Ryu. So I finally can leave. I shaked hand with him, which is a nice thing to acknowledge each other's ability... we ended up draw, lol. Later I realised he was doing cos-play as Goku (and I thought he was a salesman there!) and even the judge for the-cos play event. Wow...!

Fufu... so many ppl watching, tension... Must... win!! >.<

The whole day walk here and there. I got so hungry finally went for lunch with Danny while they continue to watch the cos-play competition. Then they join us later. The Porkchop Macau Burger was ok, new taste... After dinner we went for a walk then return to the ACGC area.


Played another round of SF, this time Alvin, Danny and Robin also played. Lost to Robin once (accidentally cause handicap), haha... Then some challengers came in. Not as keng as 'Goku' but still competitive. Win all then shake hand with them, wahaha... then see nobody wants to challenge me liao, so I left the seat and let other ppl play. Hand still got a bit shaky after that but was worth it cause I like to challenge ppl in fighting games, hehe :P


Later planned to have dinner in One Utama and called Peggy to join us. Me, LG, MC, ALvin and CK went there by Danny's car while the others took the cab. Ate at KTZ, which was a bit more expensive than lunch. Burn a hole in my wallet when both lunch and dinner cost me nearly RM20... sakitnya! T_T After chatting and joking around, finally we went back. Some followed Danny while I followed Peggy (thanks Peggy!). We heard some funny 'sound effects' in the car, haha. Then took LRT all the way back to Wangsa Maju where I fetch all of them back by car.


Went out for 12 hours++, which was so fun and enjoyable. It was also MC's bday (eh, I forget to give her Choki-Choki as a present, haha!). Even made a new friend with CK's roommate 'Fong'... or something? Next time can yamcha with more kaki liao...! XD

1 out of 2 problem solved...

First of all, a BIG BIG thanks to Eveness for finding back my black note book... although it doesn't seem much, but without it I'm totally lost...! If you see this, I owe you one... or RM5, whichever you prefer... you can come claim from me, real one! Now I only hope Bernard gets back his mouse which cost RM300+ -...

One bad luck gone, another one left... It's the stupid sticker thingy that the bodoh TARC guard took from me. If I can, I want to tuut him kao kao, but I know he's just doing his job. If I really can't get back my car sticker, then I will really swear him kao kao until he bersin and cough everyday, until he get sick! >( Go and catch those making fake stickers la, why take mine which I legally apply from the office!?! BODOH!!!

Today we went to check out the open day in the sport complex. It was fun, and even got better when U6 ppl joined us there. Got free desktop calendar, a TARC pen and 4 mini cups of Nescafe, haha... But the best thing is I learned a lot more new tricks using PS and Illustrator, hope it will stay in my brain la :P

Good turned to suey...

Last week was a good week, suddenly turned bad this week! First I lost my VERY important black notebook that I wrote down all the important stuffs in the lab last Sat... book also got ppl steal? Sigh...

Then yesterday the stupid TARC security guard took my car sticker because the number written on it is not the same as my current car number plate. That's because I change car! Told the stupid guard liao and he still took my sticker, and ask me to claim it back from the guardhouse today... Now I need to wait tomorrow cause the sticker register under his name and tomorrow only he got class. Stupid x 1000000 TARC guards! Nothing better to do ah!?!

Whoever find my black notebook back I reward Rm5! Promise, no lie! HELP!!! >.<

A good week!

Earlier was praised by Mr NCF, then yesterday, Sat class, was praised by Mr Dahlan... XD

It all started like this... He wants to check all our work, one by one, in case we do it wrong and need to redo it. We was one of the earlier ones to show him (cause we are early). Me, Wennie and CK gave Mr Dahlan see our Audio project. At first we showed him Wennie's song, and he was satisfied. Then since we got 2 more, we gave him see mine. He opened the synopsis while listening to my Russian song. I can see he is concentrating... a man dedicated to his work!

After finished, he looked normal... which was ok, as long as he's not telling me to redo. But suddenly he say "Fantastic! This is very good! Among all the classes I heard before this, yours is the best!" I was shocked, yet happy. The best... fuyoh! Then he says all about how the rhythm and the synopsis merged well, which he says we deserved full marks, haha! Don't know if he's kidding or not, yet I am happy our group did so well. He checked the others but didn't say the same thing, thus showing he's not praising everyone as the same but based on their work.

Now I must work harder cause 2 out of 3 lecturer praised me good this sem, haha... Power up!! XD

Life's good!

So the results are out. Got 1A, 4B and 1C (+ and -)... which is not bad, considering no fail. But I aimed to get higher results and beat the ones better than me, how come so hard? Need to add more oil this semester, yooooosh!

Today first class typography. I thought teacher want to see SOME sketches, mana tau want ALL 20! Or no chop! So with just 1 design in my sketchbook, I took the challenge to faster make up 20 sketches and pass it up today... and I finished! A bit scared that teacher will see my work as so 'cincai', I await his comment.

It wasn't bad... and quite good too! Out of the 20, 4 of them was picked, which I need to improve. 1 more can also be used but need to show it in computer. But still, 4 picked... and the work I done was in less than 2 hours, not bad, haha... Teacher praised me 'very creative', which I didn't hear since I was in MIA a long time ago XD

First week of sem 3, done!

Ok, so the first week of Sem 3 is over... actually it feels like more than one week studying liao, donno why, haha. Maybe cause in just one week we did so much stuffs (like playing CC) until it doesn't feel like just one week at all. I also got my car (second hand) this week, which is super good... cause I don't need to walk up and down the mountain anymore! ^^

But my mom limits me to use the car (cause nowadays financial problem + she memang strict), so don't expect me to drive further than Genting Klang with it, haha... I not rich leh, one sem I no car liao shows u how hard we try to gather money to buy one la... T_T

Overall the teachers this sem is ok... and lucky we got one funny lecturer among the 3 subjects. Don't need to say you all also know who la. Today we have the first tutorial taught by him too. Very entertaining and friendly, I wish there were more lecturers like him in TARC, haha!

So the projects are coming... one need to be passed up next week. Kan cheong and busy!!

Tomorrow start 3rd sem!

Wah, suddenly 3 weeks sudah pass liao, so fast! Then today some good friends send me the timetable... got 6 days to study, wan die meh!? Even more teruk is got 2 days the class will last until 8pm! I wonder how will the ones staying far away will feel? Sure very boh soong la... me live near also boh soong ah! >.<;

LET THE THIRD SEM BEGIN...!!!

1 more week of vacation to go!

Aik, so fast time flies... before you know, left only 1 week of holiday! But when the holidays going to end, I feel like 'mm seh tak' (sayang) because later start school cannot enjoy being lazy at home without anything to 'fan' liao, haha... Got holiday very fan, no holiday also fan... wat to do? Call eefan! lol XD

So what have I been doing the past 9 days? Stay at home rot like normal lor... also played the famous MMORPG 'Dragonica' for 2 days, which seems like a week! Pressed the keyboard button like siao until my hand damn pain to do combo... memang gila. Did a screenshot of 1600++ combo, imagine keep on pressing the keyboard non stop like that... walao! Later I post it up :P

The pictures I took and cuci, which I got back from Mr Tayguan, I chosed 2 and stick it up on my bedroom wall. Wah, looks good! My parents also praised me, so nice... Then a few days later one fell down, cause it didn't stick well on the wall. What did I use to stick the mounting board on the wall? Of course with our 'plaster-cyne', the grey eraser that only used for one sem, that one la! LOL

Who knows what is a 'facepalm? lol

Lazy-ness...

Wah, didn't know 10 days liao didn't update... But what can I say? Everyday at home either Dota, play PS2 ( Persona 4 damn nice!) or Mahjong. Walao, after CNY liao but my parents still want to play... so I teman lor. Most of the time lose than win, sigh... >.<

Lately maybe stay at home too much, stomach getting weak and always not feeling well. Must be the food at home... biasa TBR food liao, haha

So today is Valentine Day, another 'biasa' day for me. Do I feel sad being alone, instead of like the other people out there who are having fun with their love partners? Envy a bit, yes... but not sad, 

really. I have my games to cheer me up, my family to 'teman' me and nice food to eat... all at home. No need to waste money and cram myself with other people outside.

Come to think of it, freedom is not so bad after all. You don't need to waste so much money by calling, or go out to eat/ watch movie/ etc. You can spend more time doing the things you like and not 'bounded' to go out with her every week/ everyday. You don't need to scare of making her angry, don't need to feel envy when she is with another guy, don't need to feel bad of spending money for yourself than on her. Haha... whatever it is, there is good and bad, like yin and yang. So bachelor also got their own good points, remember that!

Still, cherish your love one if you have someone who loves you. Even if you don't love that person, at least thank her/him for the things they have done... be grateful! ~Ciaoz!~
